Hey everyone, the last few months I’ve been working hard focusing on producing and releasing new content for Hidden Jiu-Jitsu and updating the site. I’ve been getting rave reviews about the recently released White to Blue belt course from beginners and instructors alike.  My goal for for that course was to provide students with a foundation for understanding jiu-jitsu for self defense and fighting. I believe that should always be the priority then the competition aspect comes secondary.

A few weeks ago I also released my Ultimate Armlocks Escapes course with defenses and escapes to the most common variations of Americanas, Straight Arm Bars, Kimuras and Omaplatas. Its contains 38 brand new never released videos explaining in depth how each attack works and what is the easiest way to defend or escape.

Just last week we completed a huge server migration and update on the site to help make everything run smoother and faster. Huge thanks to Scott Nelson for all the work and late nights up doing customer support and working with the tech team to make that happen. Without Scott, HiddenJiuJitsu.com would not be possible. We are constantly looking to improve the performance and functionality of the site while also giving you all the most in depth and detailed instruction in Jiu-Jitsu anywhere online. One of the next steps for us is adding in a search function.

Just want to let you all know we appreciate all your loyalty, feedback and most importantly patience while we work to keep improving what I consider my legacy project.

Now that all that is done I’m just starting to shift gears a bit to traveling and teaching seminars again. Even with all the amazing details I share in my videos one thing I constantly hear is “Feeling the Jiu-Jitsu in person is a different experience”. That’s one of the reasons I travel so much to teach because learning from Rickson for over a decade and a half and being his demonstration partner for countless classes and seminars gave me a deep level of understanding of what real Jiu-Jitsu should feel like. This is the reason Rickson uses the term Invisible to describe his Jiu-Jitsu, some things are just very difficult to convey through words or pictures but when you feel it, it completely changes your understanding of Jiu-Jitsu.

There will be more dates and locations added to this list in the coming months and we should have a link on the site soon with all upcoming events and seminar dates.
