Understanding Weight Distribution
How did a 40-year old Rickson Gracie, who hadn't trained in 9 months and was still recovering from a groin injury, submit a 25-year old 2x world champion in his athletic prime twice in under 10 minutes?
In the year 2000, back when I was a brown belt, we had a visitor come to Rickson's gym. This visitor was a 2x world-champion, in his division and the absolute division. He was only 25 years old, in his athletic prime, and had just got back from winning Pan-Ams in Hawaii.
Rickson, on the other hand, was 40 years old and hadn't done any training in 9 months because of a groin injury. On this particular night, Rickson taught the class and at the end of the class, I noticed out of the corner of my eye this young 2x world champion visitor asked Rickson to roll.
At first, I didn't think Rickson was going to do it because he was injured and hadn't trained in 9 months. But amazingly, I saw them starting to move around and sure enough, it was on. I immediately told my training partner, "Hey, I'm done."
Within 60 seconds, all 40 of us in class stopped everything we were doing, cleared the mats and were completely focused on this clash of titans. It was all eyes on them. What happened next was astounding.
After about 4 minutes, Rickson caught this young challenger in an armbar from the guard. But it only took another 3 minutes for Rickson to tap him again.
I couldn't see clearly what happened for Rickson to get that second tap, and when I asked him how he did it, he said this young world champion had tapped to pressure alone. Rickson explained he knew this guy was young and was going to come at him hard, so his best shot, given his condition being injured and all, was to make this guy carry his weight with every move.
That night changed everything for me, and in this course, I'm going to show you 10,000 times the information I got that night. In fact, I'm going to share some of the most powerful secrets I've learned over the last 22 years since that night for how to use weight distribution at the highest levels of skill.
I've never taught weight distribution like this before.
→ In this course, I'm going to show you how to use your weight from the top and bottom positions. Many people hear "weight distribution" and have no idea what that means. But among those who do know what weight distribution means, most of them think about cross side or the top position. It makes sense, gravity is already working for you if you're in the top position, you just have to decide how to use it. But did you know there are just as many opportunities from the bottom to make your opponent carry your weight? When you're done with this cours, you will see opportunities to use weight distribution everywhere!
→ This strategy is effective against the best combat athletes in the world, in the best shape of their lives. It doesn't matter how athletic somebody is, no one can carry the weight of another human body for very long without gassing. In fact, someone's athleticism can work against them in this case, becuase they have the ability to move faster and more explosively than the average fighter. Which means they'll burn through their energy reserves more quickly. The faster they push the pace, the quicker they will gas. Even fighers like Conor McGregor or Mike Tyson, the most dangerous men on the planet, aren't worth much when they're completely exhausted. We've all felt this at one time or another. Imagine having the ability to make years of training and skill count for nothing, as you gas your opponents out and make them practically worthless in just a matter of minutes, while you're staying safe and fresh. This is the definition of an unfair fight, and you'll be able to engineer it any time you want.

What Will I Learn?
β How to make your opponents carry your weight with every move, from the top and bottom position, whether you're a heavyweight or a featherweight, it does not matter. Look, you don't have to be 200 lbs or more to make this work. Even for the biggest, most athletic guys you can imagine, carrying a mere 35 lbs. at awkward angles and without rest will make them gas! Imagine loading up a kettlebell on the most athletic guy at your gym and making him roll while having to carry the kettlebell. The harder he pushes the pace, the faster he will get exhausted. Even if you are a mere 100 lbs. soaking wet, when you learn to use your weight properly, that will be more than enough to get the full effect.
β How to train to use weight distribution so you can increase your skill meaningfully in every scenario. It's not enough to understand how this works, you're going to have to practice it too. A lot. It took me months to build a respectable level of skill with this and it's going to take you time too. Probably much less since I'm showing you all the details and I had to figure them out for myself. Still, this will not happen overnight. but it will absolutely be worth putting the time in because once you do, you'll have a strategy you can count on that works no matter who you're fighting, and can quickly make all their years of training count for nothing while you stay safe and fresh.
β All of the tiny adjustments you can make to increase the pressure to insane levels, even after you thought it was already maxed out! Your training partners may hate you for awhile as you practice this, but having literal super powers will be worth it.
βAnd so much more!
