Do you fight fair?
You shouldn’t.
Not if you’re seriously at risk because someone intends to do you harm.
And one of the best ways to stack the deck in your favor is using a strategy your opponent is not prepared for.
That’s why Jiu-Jitsu is like having super powers.
Because most people have no idea how to deal with Jiu-Jitsu.
Or, as Rickson once put it, “I am a shark, the ground is my ocean, and most people can't even swim.”
But what if there was a strategy you could use that even most Jiu-Jitsu fighters weren’t prepared for?
What if you were a shark even among sharks, and you had a strategy that humbled even the most experienced fighters?
Introducing: The Soul Stealer.
Regardless of what color our belts are, when it comes to a new technique or a new strategy, we are all white belts when we learn something new.
And there is a strategy I’ve been teaching for some time that most people who practice Jiu-Jitsu, even the higher belts, simply aren't prepared to defend at all.
This strategy makes black belts feel like white belts, because they’ve never trained how to properly escape the position.
The reason why is interesting, and I’ll get to it below, but first, I want to tell you about the strategy itself.
We call it the “Soul Stealer”.
Many people know this position as Kesa Gatame, which is the Japanese name for a Judo technique that translates to English as “Scarf Hold”.
We call it the Soul Stealer because it generally takes less than a minute to submit someone just from the pressure of the position alone, as they slowly lose the ability to breathe.
What’s truly amazing about this position is that it is effective no matter how skilled your opponent is (even if they’re much better than you at other aspects of Jiu-Jitsu), it does not rely on any physical attributes like strength or size, and the position itself is a submission.
I could write more about this, but instead, I’d like to show you what I mean with the video below.
In this short video I had the opportunity to teach Bernardo Faria, 5x Heavyweight World Champion the power of using weight to create soul crushing pressure. You can see even a 5x world champion has to tap after a brief amount of time from being effortlessly held in this position.
If you’d like to have this power for yourself, the power to quickly and easily secure the tap from even the most experienced fighters from pressure alone… plus, learn all of the attacks and entries that make systematic domination with the Soul Stealer inevitable…
